At Key Stage 5 we follow Pearsons BTEC IT specification. This involves 4 units, 1 external written examination, 1 external database examination and 2 internally assessed pieces of coursework. Pupils gain an insight into how to create and use databases effectively to how social media is used effectively in business. Most skills learnt throughout this course are transferrable to other subjects and the workplace.
